I first experienced Reflexology about 5 years ago after having my first baby, I can’t remember her name, (the therapist, not my child), but I do remember how relaxed and chilled I felt during and after the treatment – this was kindly given to me by my mother in law who now has me addicted to the treatment.
Yesterday I had my first treatment with my beautiful friend Jo…see post of us both dancing together after a night out…we have fun together mostly so was happily surprised to find out how amazing she is at Reflexology, she also applies Reiki to the mix, I reckon I was in and out of consciousness throughout her treatment, (think I jumped and snored a few times during my session) – I was in utter ‘foot bliss’ and for the rest of the day felt totally relaxed and de-stressed.
Reflexology is based on the belief that each part of the body is interconnected through the nervous system to the hands and feet – stimulating specific reflex points in the feet can encourage needed nutrients to poorly functioning areas of the body. This can help restore balance throughout the body……it’s been around for thousands of years and I can see why.
Jo works in the Buckinghamshire area, but if that’s a little too far, contact the International Institute of Reflexologists to find other therapists local to you – ‘foot bliss’ definitely rocks…in a chilled way…
